Designing and manufacturing critical drone components in Germany and the European Union , for Europe.
We design and manufacture critical drone components entirely in Germany and the EU. Motors, frames, electronics. No foreign dependencies. Full supply chain sovereignty for European defense.
Strategic Resilience
In times of conflict, centralized factories become vulnerabilities. Our technology can be moved, scaled, and distributed across hubs in Germany and Europe. A secure supply chain that cannot be severed by a single strike or logistical bottleneck.
Manufacturing
Every component designed and produced within Germany and the European Union. No dependency on non-European suppliers. Full sovereignty over our production chain.
Procurement Philosophy
We believe the military of the future shouldn't wait for a central command to decide their configuration. They should choose what they need, when they need it.
The frontline operator is the true expert. Each unit has a unique mission, and they know best which components will destroy the enemy most effectively. European defense must evolve from slow, centralized tenders to a rapid, decentralized marketplace.
Loiter Labs is built for this shift. We don't just sell hardware; we provide the agility to adapt. Whether a unit needs a specific motor connection or custom initiation logic, we deliver mission-ready components in days, not months.

Manufacturing footprint
Top-down floor area, to scale
Traditional defense manufacturing requires large factory floors with heavy machinery, fixed infrastructure, and long setup times. A single facility. A single target.
Our production fits in a small room or 20-Foot shipping Container. It can be packed up and relocated in hours, not months. That is what makes decentralized manufacturing possible.
Rheinmetall's CEO dismissed small-scale drone production as 'playing with Lego.' We agree. Except we call it a competitive advantage.

Why the name
The Brothers Grimm wrote stories where the world was dangerous and actions had consequences. Not fairy tales. Warnings. We named our product line after them because what we build is not a toy. It is serious, unyielding, and built for environments where failure is not an option.

Origin Story
Sometimes, the best opportunities aren't planned. At a Cyber Innovation Hub event for the Bundeswehr, I found myself with a surprise 3-minute pitch slot and a couple of our latest motor prototypes in my bag.
That spontaneous pitch, focusing on reliable, German-made drone technology for European needs, resonated strongly. It reinforced our mission: building critical components right here, ensuring quality and sovereignty for demanding applications. That moment encapsulates our drive at Loiter Labs.

FAQ
Who can buy restricted products?
The Initiator and Whiskers are sold exclusively to government agencies and authorized defense personnel. Contact us for verification and procurement details.
What does decentralized manufacturing mean?
Our production runs across multiple independent hubs in Germany and Europe. No single factory dependency. If one site goes down, production continues elsewhere. A supply chain that cannot be severed by a single strike or logistical bottleneck.
Do you offer volume pricing?
Yes. Contact us for bulk orders and we will discuss pricing, lead times, and custom requirements for your project.
Are your products ITAR-free?
Yes. All Loiter Labs products are designed and manufactured in the EU with no US-origin components, making them free from ITAR restrictions.
How fast can you deliver custom configurations?
Our modular architecture and decentralized manufacturing allow us to produce custom frame configurations with a 1-day turnaround. Standard products ship immediately from stock.
